Yet Barbara Bingham is more than Miss Van Deusen in Friday the 13th Part VIII. She’s a screenwriter, producer, devoted mother and wife, and at 65 a shining example of taking on new challenges and living big at any age. Resilient, creative and beautifully loving, Barbara’s A to Be is like a heart-warming hug.

About Barbara Bingham

Barbara Bingham, originally from Hawaii, is best known for her iconic roles in the horror genre. She began her career with a role on the original “Hawaii 5-0” before venturing to Los Angeles in her early twenties, where she navigated a versatile career in film, television, and commercials. Notably, she took on lead roles in movies such as “Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan,” “Soldier’s Fortune,” “Cop Target,” and “Beyond Darkness.” In 1996, Barbara made a significant move to Australia, where her career evolved to encompass corporate roleplay, screenplay writing, and print work. Today, this multifaceted talent calls Sydney home, known for her boundless creativity both in front of the camera and beyond.
