In March 2022, Coastrek were excited to announce radio and TV presenter, and founder and CEO of Broad Radio, Jo Stanley, became a Coastrek Ambassador for Melbourne Coastrek with her team – The 4 Broads – taking on the challenge in support of raising awareness for women’s health.

Paralympian Ellie Cole

Jo Stanley, Proud Coastrek ambassador and founder of Broad Radio, is thrilled to bring you the Broad Radio Coastrek Collection.

In this episode, we welcome a special guest who has had us glued to the screens for an incredible 17 Paralympic medals (including six gold), 10 world championship medals and four Commonwealth Games medals.

Swimmer Ellie Cole shares her experience at the games and we find out why she thinks the paralympics open up the conversation about disability, as well as differences, backgrounds and drive for all athletes. We also find out about her involvement with the new campaign ‘We the 15’ which over the next 10 years, aims to shine a light on people living with disabilities in all areas of the community.

Ezyquip ladies Kristy Gardner (Left), Erika Evans (Center) and Robyn Parker (Right), as well as Bronwyn Scanlan have banded together to walk for mental health, forming the ‘Last Minute Larries’ to raise money for Coastrek WILD WOMEN ON TOP, in sponsorship of Beyond Blue!
 
The Last Minute Larries, including Bronwyn Scanlan will take on this 30km coastline trek from Mdjimba to Noosa on Friday 15th of July.

Recovery after sport ( coasters) Peace of mind and sleep are things that we are struggling with, and both can be cured with yoga. And Pilates! There are many yoga poses for tecoveryand restoration but the Viparita Karani is highly ( legs up the wall) recommended

2. The posture helps improve sleep.

The below steps are the yoga poses for sleep:

* 	Shimmy your hips as close as possible to the wall, then start walking your feet up the wall until your body forms an L shape.
* 	Make adjustments so that the posture feels relaxing, use a pillow under your head or a towel at the base of your back.
