About Amy Wang: Amy Wang is a Chinese-Australian screenwriter, curretnly writing the sequel to “Crazy Rich Asians.” Amy gained industry recognition for her short film, “Unnatural” in 2018. Her background and immigrant upbringing in suburban Sydney has shaped her unique creative voice. Amy’s portfolio includes work on the Netflix/Hello Sunshine limited series “From Scratch,” produced by Reese Witherspoon and starring Zoe Saldana. She also developed Netflix series, “The Brothers Sun” with Brad Falchuk and has penned a screenplay, “Wendi,” featured on the 2019 Black List and The Hit List.
